Teaching

The Montessori teacher’s responsibilities include creating lesson plans and curricula focused on developing social, physical, intellectual, and emotional skills, assessing children’s individual needs, and communicating with parents as required. You should be able to create a nurturing, stimulating classroom where every child feels included.

Azalea City Montessori requires all lead teachers to take and pass a Montessori teaching program.

Assistant Teachers are required to take and pass a Montessori assistant certificate program.

Support Staff

ACM support staff include a variety of staff members who provide after school care, substitute teaching, and support to students while they utilize school facilities. School support staff play an important role in ensuring students are learning in a safe and supportive learning environment

Volunteer

It’s not all about fundraising. ACM loves to have parent and family volunteers to do a variety of tasks around the school. Volunteers are an integral part of the ACM community and make sure events, programs, field trips, and school events are safe and fun. Volunteers can also relieve the work load for some of our teachers or help clean up or set up for large school events.
